It’s been a really good 4 days. Four days of total times between 14:08 and 14:45. No serious medical issues. Steady output. Reasonable sleep. Actually, “reasonable” sleep is still pretty unreasonable.
The last four days have been a perfect template for the team to duplicate. An early start, on the bike quickly, great pacing on the bike, approximately 14-15 hours each day.
Daily elapsed time is leveling off. In the last 12 days only 3 days have taken longer then 15 hours.
Bike data today is about as perfect as it can get. There is something about a 77 cadence that James just locks in at. My thoughts of a higher cadence have been overshadowed by what is working. He is at 77rpm virtually every day.
Check out the max 20 minute average power of 140. Day 1 was 224 watts! Oh how fatigue makes pacers of us all.
James lives with his wife, Sunny, and their five children in Utah. After breaking several Guinness World Records, James wondered if he had truly found his mental and physical limits. He knew there was more. Experience firsthand the remarkable journey of James Lawrence and his family.
